After hours, there is always a doctor on call,
so please do not go to walk-in clinics.
Due to the funding mechanism under which the doctors at Spectrum Health work, we strongly request that
you do not attend walkin clinics, as your doctor at Spectrum pays the doctor you see at the walkin clinic
for your visit.

The doctor carries a cell phone and will normally answer when the phone initially rings.
If they do not answer immediately, that means that they are helping another client.
Please leave a message and they will call you back once they are available.
If you do not hear back within 15 minutes, please call again, as they may not have received the call
due to technical issues such as problems with reception or the phone.
If you still do not hear back, please contact your local emergency department.
If there are problems reaching the doctor on call, please let us know the following day at the office,
as we do want to rectify any problems with process.
